Brisbane Standard Drawings
Standard drawings show construction layouts and details of infrastructure assets that are acceptable to Brisbane City Council.
Standard drawings must be referenced (quoting the drawing number and revision version) or physically included in tender and contract documents for work:
to be constructed for Council
in a development to be contributed to Council
on an asset owned by Council
The below drawings have Brisbane concrete considerations, Australian Standards, and regulations that apply for the works to be completed.
9000 series - Streetscape and landscape
All Workmanship and material shall be in accordance with AS3600.
At a minimum, all concrete is to be grade N25.
All cement to be type GP or GB to AS3972 unless specified otherwise.
Normal aggregate size to be 20mm and slump to be not greater than 80mm.
The bottoms of all footings are to be cleaned of all loose material and water prior to placing concrete.

All Workmanship and material shall be per AS3600.
At a minimum, all concrete is to be grade N25. Concrete shall be normal class concrete unless directed otherwise. N25 shall mean normal class concrete with a 28-day characteristic strength of 25mpa. The concrete mix design shall be submitted to the site superintendent for approval five (5) days before ordering
All cement to be type GP or GB to AS3972 unless specified otherwise
The concrete maintenance edge must not exceed 20m in continuous lengths.

All Workmanship and material shall be per AS3600.
At a minimum, all concrete is to be grade N32. Concrete shall be normal class concrete unless directed otherwise. N32 shall mean normal class concrete with a 28-day characteristic strength of 32mpa. The concrete mix design shall be submitted to the site superintendent for approval five (5) days before ordering.
All cement to be type GP or GB to AS3972 unless specified otherwise.
All concrete haunches under pavers to be grade N25.
Install contraction joints at 4m intervals by forming grooves 40mm deep by 6mm wide to all exposed surfaces normal to the alignment of the kerb.
Normal aggregate size to be 20mm, slump to be not greater then 80mm.

All Paths/ Pavement areas to have a 1:50 minimum cross-fall.
Paths and pavements to comply with Australian Standards and council requirements for access and mobility as per AS1428
Position Stakes on timber edging at closer centers where required.
